Group, synergy, cooperation, common objectives, solidarity, flexibility, people, are all recurring terms when we talk about teamwork. But there is an expression more and more used: the "Team Building". But finally what is it?
The Team Building is a motivational process with the objective of creating within a group, team spirit generating a sense of belonging to the group and thus improving teamwork. Even if they are organized in an external environment, the activities developed have always, although indirectly, a comparative link to the day-to-day problems of the company. Issues such as interdependence, cooperation, communication and mutual trust, for example, help to create / strengthen the team's spirit.
We offer a unique and completely original form to know the city of Porto!
This program will allow participants to discover, during a half day of activities, a city that promises hilarious and sunny moments, from one hill to another, from the river to the center.
The group will participate in a mission to find 6 articles that, when they are together, form the soul of our country, the reasons for our traditions, the raw material of paradise ie Portugal. In addition you will have to represent (through photos) the 3 specific characteristics of each article.
During the briefing, the teams will be created and each of them will be numbered.
The group will leave the hotel, on foot, in order to explore the center of Porto and try to find the 6 items that make up the list. Each team will have to find the articles on their own initiative thus creating a challenge to win the competition.
The emotion is at the top! It's time to go in search of the list of 6!
The List of Six, incomplete, will be given to each team during the briefing, While we explain the procedures and standards of competitions.
Apart from the normal roadbook, which will be the guide of teams in Porto, customers will have access to the previously mentioned document, a series of 6 groups of 3 words and a niche for photos and a description. This is "The List of Six", a collection of anecdotes about the 6 greatest and most typical elements of the Portuguese soul and when they are together and complete (by the teams), help them better understand what is the collective unconscious of our people, the true nature of "Portuguese". During the program, the teams will try to find one of the 6 places, where they will find each of the 6 elements, with its explanation that will be pasted in the list.
The list of six will consist of the following articles:
⦁ The tram
⦁ Pastel of Bacalhau
Fernando Pessoa
⦁ Coffee ("Cimbalino")
⦁ Fino
⦁ Fado
The challenge that we propose to you will be to find explanations for each element, by taking 3 photos which explain, with the help of the elements of the teams, each concept associated with this element.
For example - the 3 words that represent the "tram" are: Charisma, Color and Movement. The team will have to take a picture for each feature that represents the item in a dramatic and noticeable way.
Each of the stations in relation to the articles will also be an example of each one so that they are seen by the teams.
Our intention is for the teams to have an entertaining half-day, but at the same time filled with culture and history, helping the group to get to know the Portuguese culture better.
We want the teams to "feel, try and touch" the items, so that they know and understand the predominant elements of our "soul".
The final ranking will be based on the articles that the teams will have represented in the best way.
There will always be 6 prizes (the 6 items in the list), given to the team that will have best described through the photos.
If the additional option (in the last slide) of the prize giving is activated we will offer the item of the list to each member of the team who will have won thanks to the best description.
We determine the top 6 teams (or less, if the same team describes one or two items or multiple items) and prizes will be awarded based on the best described article.
