3 Hours
With this program we propose a different way of knowing Lisbon by doing it through one of its most beautiful "showcases": the Tagus.
At the same time, a competition event where each team will have to combine their efforts to be victorious and where team spirit works between the crew, because in a boat: "One for all and all for one!"
The competition will begin at the Spanish jetty or at another available pier in Lisbon.
Participants will sail for approximately 3 hours along the Tagus where participants will learn how to maneuver the boat, with the help of an instructor.
After the division of the group in teams of 7 pax per boat, the sailboats will leave the wharf towards the 1st buoy. This trip will take 20 minutes, which teams will use to learn.
Arriving at the first buoy begins the competition.
The goal of the regatta is to reach the 2nd buoy and return to the 1st in the least possible time.
The distance between the buoys is about ½ mile. In case there is a difference in the size of the boats and, consequently, in their speed, a handicap will be applied in accordance with the rating system in force.
The competition is divided into two rounds, the sum of the performance of the two rounds determining the final result.
