This rally was designed to discover the romantic paradise of the Sintra massif.
From the construction of the Château dos Mouros in the 8th century to the beginning of the construction of the Royal Palace of Pena in the 19th century, Sintra has acquired a cosmopolitan and royal aura from which it will no longer separate.
Sintra has become the place of occupation of the free time of the Portuguese Kings thanks to its fauna (hunting) and its mild temperature and is classified since 1981 as Natural Park and since December 7, 1995 as protected area and World Heritage.
The participants will discover the beauty of the region, following the instructions of the road book.
At each stop, they will have to contact the elements of the organization or the extras to answer questions or to perform some action. If the answers are correct and the punctuation of the action according to the norms of the game, the teams receive a part of a card which, once assembled to the others, will lead them to the royal treasure buried at the Guincho beach.
The royal family lived at the Pena Palace and hid their treasure in a place near Sintra to prevent it from falling into the hands of their enemies. Unfortunately, the one who hid him died the next day, and the secret disappeared forever ...
The treasure is at the Guincho beach, near the restaurant "Mar do Guincho".
Here we will place 1 treasure per team, which will consist of a chest with gold (fake), bracelets, pearls, rings, earrings, etc ... in a delimited area of ​​the beach and protected by a pirate.
PROGRAM :
Training of teams of 6 elements, recognizable by colored scarves (one per team).
Journey through Sintra, passing through S. Pedro de Sintra, Palazzo da Pena, Castle dos Mouros, Sintra, Hotel Palacio de Seteais, Cabo da Roca.
Coffee break and queijadas (typical cakes) in a belvedere of the mountain.
Historical characters that customers will meet during the course
- Infante D. Henrique - will give a shovel to find the treasure.
- King D. Fernando II - help to execute a watercolor painting.
- Lord Byron - helps clients write a poem.
- Queen D. Filipa de Lencastre - gives a rose to each of the ladies.
Customers will have to harvest all parts of the map to discover the exact location of the treasure.
Arriving at the beach, the teams will have to gather all the pieces of the map so as to discover the location of the treasure. There, they will find a pirate who will guard him and help them dig him up if necessary.
